Self-employed in the corona crisis: the more digitized, the more confident

The emergency aid for the self-employed in the corona pandemic has increased confidence, especially in heavily digitized companies, that they will survive the crisis. In contrast, there are hardly any effects among the self-employed who only invested in digitalization after the pandemic began.

This shows a joint study by the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), the ZEW Mannheim and the University of Trier.
