RePPPortal – modular software for CSRD und ESG reporting

What is RePPPortal?

RePPPortal is a comprehensive software platform that helps companies centrally map all requirements of sustainability reporting standards, such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) or the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standard, as well as other ESG reporting obligations.

It combines modules for double materiality analysis (DMA), stakeholder management (SHM), and automated reporting (ASR) into a seamlessly integrated solution. Interfaces enable the integration of existing data sources (e.g., ERP systems), allowing users to capture their sustainability data once and then process it in all relevant reporting formats.

Why is RePPPortal relevant for companies?

In times of stricter regulatory requirements and growing expectations from investors, customers, and other stakeholders, transparent and reliable sustainability reporting is essential. RePPPortal supports companies from the collection of relevant data to the completion of the report and ensures that reports not only comply with CSRD/ESRS requirements but also reduce the burden on internal processes.

By integrating existing data sources (such as from ERP or CRM systems), redundant work steps are avoided, and consistent documentation of all intermediate steps guarantees traceability right through to the audit. At the same time, the modular architecture allows you to use only the components that are currently needed and to scale flexibly as soon as legal obligations or internal priorities change.

This saves companies time, minimizes sources of error, and creates a solid basis for long-term successful and future-proof ESG and CSRD reporting.

The modules of RePPPortal

#1: DMA – Double Materiality Assessment

Coming Soon

What is the DMA module?

The DMA module (Double Materiality Assessment) supports companies in conducting materiality analyses in accordance with ESRS and GRI guidelines. Both impact materiality (effects on the environment and society) and financial materiality (financial relevance for the company) are systematically recorded and evaluated.

How does it support companies?

Step-by-step process: You are systematically guided through the complex materiality process – with a greatly simplified questionnaire and an intuitive evaluation system. Prioritization & visualization: Results are presented clearly so that areas for action can be quickly identified.

Integration of external data: Integration of industry benchmarks, ESG ratings, and regulatory requirements for a well-founded description of impacts, risks, and opportunities – without any research effort on your part.

Report preparation: The identified material topics can be transferred directly to the ASR module; alternatively, there is the option of creating an interim report if the ASR module is not yet in use.

#2: ASR – Automated Sustainability Reporting

Coming Soon

What is the ASR module?

The ASR module (Automated Sustainability Reporting) enables sustainability reports (CSRD, ESRS, GRI, DNK, VSME, etc.) to be generated without manual formatting. Based on a central database and predefined reporting templates, all relevant key figures are automatically converted into the desired output format (PDF, DOCX, XBRL).

How does it support companies?

Automated data transfer: Once uploaded or linked, values (e.g., CO₂ emissions, personnel indicators, supply chain information) flow directly into the report.

Templates for various standards: Whether ESRS Core Set, GRI standards, or national requirements—integrated templates guarantee compliance.

Reduction of sources of error: Clearly defined field mappings reduce the likelihood of errors, which often occur during manual reformatting.

Visual report elements: Diagrams, tables, and text modules are generated dynamically and can be dragged and dropped into the final layout.

#3: SHM – Stakeholder Management

Coming Soon

What is the SHM module?

The SHM module (stakeholder management) maps the lifecycle of all stakeholder interactions – from identification and categorization to regular communication and feedback evaluation. This enables companies to create a structured basis for involving their key stakeholders in the reporting process and documenting this in a standard-compliant manner.

How does it support companies?

Stakeholder mapping: Identify and classify internal and external stakeholders (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees, NGOs, authorities).

Communication workflows: Plan information events, surveys, or workshops and track feedback in a central overview.

Risk & opportunity analysis: Direct feedback allows you to identify potential risks (e.g., negative media coverage) and opportunities (e.g., innovation impulses) for your sustainability profile at an early stage.

Audit-proof documentation: All entries and dialogs are stored in a version-secure manner—ideal for audits or inquiries from external auditors.

What is RePPPortal and who is it suitable for?

RePPPortal is an integrated software solution that combines all processes from data collection and stakeholder dialogues to final report generation in a single system. Companies that fall under the CSRD or voluntarily adhere to higher ESG standards will find the platform a useful tool for efficiently mapping often complex requirements.

Medium-sized and large companies with heterogeneous data sources (ERP, CRM, industry-specific tools) benefit just as much as internationally active corporations that have to cover international standards such as GRI in addition to European requirements (CSRD). The solution is also suitable for organizations in the service or manufacturing sector that want to make their sustainability processes scalable.

Key features of RePPPortal

The focus is on the smooth execution of all ESG-related reporting obligations – from materiality analysis and stakeholder engagement to the automated creation of compliant sustainability reports. The platform offers standardized interfaces (API, CSV import, database connectors) so that existing ERP, CRM, or HR systems can be seamlessly connected. Built-in data validations and plausibility checks prevent duplicate entries and inconsistencies before they are included in the report.

Reporting is based on predefined templates for CSRD/ESRS, GRI, and national regulations: Once the data is available in the central database, it is automatically converted into the desired output format (e.g., PDF, DOCX, XBRL). Versioning and approval processes ensure that every change remains transparently traceable and that only authorized users can finalize reports. Integrated stakeholder and document management rounds off the range of functions by mapping communication workflows and feedback loops in an audit-proof manner.

Basis & Integration

As a single point of truth, RePPPortal enables consolidated data management: All ESG-relevant information is stored in a scalable database and can be used by different departments simultaneously. This minimizes redundant data maintenance for companies and ensures that they always have access to a single, reliable source.

Connections to ERP systems can be set up to automatically transfer energy consumption and financial key figures, for example, without the need for manual re-entry. CRM and HR data can also be synchronized to map social indicators such as employee health or diversity KPIs. In addition, external benchmarks (such as emission factors or industry-specific comparative values) can be imported directly to enable informed reference comparisons.

Advantages for CSRD-compliant reporting

RePPPortal covers all mandatory ESRS topics and uses integrated templates to ensure that even formal requirements (mandatory fields, report chapters) are always met. This eliminates the need for time-consuming comparisons with different sets of rules – instead, the software automatically generates a legally compliant structure based on the stored data.

Another advantage is the automatic updates when new ESRS or CSRD changes are made. As soon as standard requirements are adjusted, the platform receives an update that adds all relevant new fields, key figures, or report chapters. This allows companies to remain compliant in the future without additional effort and to continuously optimize their reporting processes.

Areas of application & scalability

Whether manufacturing, financial services, or public institutions: RePPPortal can be used across all industries.

Thanks to multi-client capability, different subsidiaries or international branches can be created as separate users. Each unit can work with separate data and report templates, while retaining an overview of the entire group. Thanks to its modular approach, users start with a basic module (“Core Portal”) and gradually expand it—for example, with country-specific templates.

Available both as a cloud service (SaaS) and on-premise, the platform adapts flexibly to individual security and infrastructure requirements.
